in the beginning...
My home was first introduced to the internet in 1996. Once I figured out how my email worked i quickly signed up for a free webpage on geocities, another one on geocities, and a few on tripod. They've ranged from simple exercises in html to actual content. The content itself was usually a reflection of my interests at the time, a few for comedy sketches i wrote with people i met online and in real life, and others that just attempted to be wierd and read like the liner notes of a Radiohead cd.

Although for most of my life I had an obsession with Conan O'Brien, I never dared to make a page devoted to him because I knew I would never really comb newspapers and tabloid television in search of blurbs.

So here, enjoy for the first time, my attempt at a legitimate website, no beatnik poems, outsider art, satirical stories about Fortune 500 CEOs, or real audio files of poorly recorded 4-tracks of me and my guitar.

thanks to...
For getting this site off the ground, I owe a bit of thanks to the following people who offered support and advice.

Jen Ciliska & Lyndsay Michelle Lynch who offered support from the moment i dropped the url of the unfinished website into one of my posts. they also founded the plumtree mailing list, which let me know that i wouldn't be the only one visiting this website.

Chris Naude who designed a set of WinAmp skins based on Radiohead artwork. Was extremely helpful in putting towards advice on how he did them.

Mike Hamilton remembered to bring a camera to see Plumtree in Edmonton, I didn't. So for that, (and agreeing to meet me at the shows because I couldn't convince anyone else to come) I am grateful.

Carla Gillis and Walter Forsyth hung out in the Plumtree discussion group and openly shared memories, news, and alot of the facts that I have included on this website. Carla also recently verified (and added to) everything in the biography and gear section. Without a doubt, the presence of these two on the discussion group made the biggest impact on this website.

this site was designed using Netscape Composer. It looks best on Netscape, not on Microsoft Explorer. Also built with Photoshop, Microsoft Paint, Real Producer Basic, and a Sony MiniDisc player for capturing the MuchEast segments. that's it. i swear.
